About the Authors
Nicole Pakan and Patrick M. Pilarski met through the Edmonton poetry scene, where a profound respect for each other's writing evolved into a light-hearted romantic adventure. Four years later, they finally took the plunge ... and authored this collaborative chapbook. Collectively, their work has appeared in over one hundred different publications in North America and abroad; both Patrick and Nicole have been featured in journals such as Carousel, CV2, filling Station, Misunderstandings Magazine, Other Voices, and The Prairie Journal. Against all norms of probability, they often appear in the same issue. Together they co-edit the international journal DailyHaiku, and serve as associate editors for its new sister publication DailyHaiga. Patrick and Nicole live in Edmonton with a disturbing number of houseplants, twelve tropical fish, and many, many books. In March 2011, they were happily married (to each other, of all people).
